Your Rental Amount May Soon Be Changing
Your Rental Amount Could Be Changing
The cost of your rent and, in some cases, your service charge is being reviewed and is likely to change.
Any changes will begin from April this year.
What Does This Mean For Me?
Basically, the amount of money you pay to us each week or each month will change and could increase. You may need to make provisions for this such as setting extra money aside each week or month. If you are claiming Housing Benefit or Universal Credit, you will need to inform your local Council of the changes.
Why Is My Rent Changing?
At Estuary Housing Association, we want to be able to provide you with the best level of service we can to ensure you enjoy your time with us. Inevitably we face many challenges in doing this, one of which is the burden of rising costs. Every year we need to make small changes to our rent and service charges to help us to overcome this challenge.
How Much Will I Have To Pay?
This will be different depending on where you live and the type of tenancy you have with us. You will soon receive a letter with all the information you need, including your new rental and service charge amount.
- In the meantime, we recommend you read our page 'How Are Our Rents Calculated?'.
- If you have any questions or concerns about this, please call us on 0300 304 5000 and we will happily talk it through with you.
