Norton Place is a Registered Nursing Home for adults where we support people with learning disabilities, complex physical health needs and sensory impairment

 

The home can accommodate up to eleven people and has:

  • Large, well-maintained private garden
  • Spacious lounge and dining area
  • Laundry room
  • Personalised individual rooms with TV aerial points and washbasins
  • Fully accessible - specialist lifting and bathing equipment 
  • In-house chef
  • Adapted vehicle for residents
  • Free WiFi access for all residents 

Norton Place specialises in person centred support and care in order to provide excellent quality services for our residents. A choice of daily activities are offered to promote personal independence and provide opportunities for a fulfilled and meaningful quality of life.

The chef ensures that a choice of healthy, nutritious, home cooked meals, from locally sourced produce, are available daily.

 "Hello my name is Vicki and I am the Service Manager at Norton place.

 I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years and have vast experience working with people with learning disabilities/difficulties  and people with mental health needs.

 I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social care, previously internal safeguarding trainer, TAQA level 2 qualification to support staff with NVQs/QCFs and recently a qualified internal auditor.

My main aim for people who live at Norton Place is to offer a safe environment where people are offered opportunities to maximise their life as much as possible. Excellent customer service is paramount to us and we drive for excellence."
