Meet the Resident Voice and Influence Panel

Our Resident Voice and Influence Panel are made up of our residents who volunteer their own time to help keep Estuary accountable.

Lynda BuckleyChair, Lynda Buckley

Located in Leigh-on-Sea, resident with Estuary for 30 years.

Chair of the Panel since 2024.

Background: Currently a receptionist for the NHS; Lynda's background is in secretarial and admin.

Hobbies and Interests: volunteering, reading, music, the cinema and visiting historic places.

Bob TuckBob Tuck

Lives on the Woodgrange Drive Estate, has been a resident with Estuary for 45 years.

Background: Currently an Estuary reception bank employee; Bob started as part of the Grounds and Maintenance Team and went on to be manager, carrying on in this team until retirement. 

Hobbies and Interests: Going on holidays and caravan trips, loves cooking and eating out, music, and is a family man with a large extended family.  

Louise Haines-Wilkinson Louise Haines-Wilkinson

Located in Chelmsford, a resident with Estuary for 23 years.  

Background: most recently a private one to one assistant for a child with complex needs, providing additional support for the family. Previously a nursery manager, and has worked with children and vulnerable adults for over 30 years; has been Designated Safeguarding Lead in these roles.  

Hobbies and Interests: Walking, reading, singing and has a love for animals. 

Fatou OgunbiyiFatou Ogunbiyi

Lives on the Woodgrange Drive Estate, a resident with Estuary for 24 years

Joined Resident Voice and Influence Panel in 2024

Background: Works part-time as an Occupational Therapist Assistant / Activity Coordinator at Rochford Hospital. Just completed a Masters in Business Management and a further PGCE. 

Hobbies and Interests: Busy and valued member of her local Gambian community and mosque; advocates community cohesion and outreach, enjoys fashion, entrepreneurship and exploring new cultures and countries

Kayleigh PaveleyKayleigh Paveley

Lives on the Woodgrange Drive Estate, has been a resident with Estuary for 19 years.  

Joined RVIP in 2023. 

Background: Currently a carer/PA for a private client with a background in Adult Social Care.

Hobbies and Interests: Enjoys watching true crime, and spending quality time with her partner and three children. 

Evelyn ParksEvelyn Parks 

Located in Maldon, Evelyn has been a resident with Estuary for 11 years

Background: Has run two successful businesses in the hair and beauty industry; founded and ran an online radio station and been a radio presenter.

Hobbies and Interests: Volunteer as a Samaritan.

Les McDonaldLes McDonald

Lives in Burnham-on-Crouch and a resident with Estuary for 17 years.

Previously involved with Scrutiny at its concept, re-joined in 2024.

Background: Retired from a career in Aviation & Health and Safety.

Hobbies and interests: Socialising, driving, and travel; a family man who enjoys his homelife.

Resident with Estuary for 6 years, lives in Great Dunmow

Background: Previously a youth worker; now volunteering with Essex Police as a custody visitor and mediator. 

Hobbies and interests: Loves music, attending gigs, watching football and other sports and travelling. 

Marita HiggsMarita Higgs

Shared Owner in Loughton, Marita has been with Estuary for 2 years

Background: Childcare, has been a private nanny for 23 years.

Hobbies and interests: Gardening, walking and cooking healthy meals.
