Our offices will be closed for Easter weekend from 5pm on Thursday 2nd April and will reopen on Tuesday 7th April at 8.30am, but our emergency repairs line will still be available during this time on 0808 169 1969.
Celebrating Winter Pride 2026!
We were delighted to take part in Southend Winter Pride this weekend, joining local residents, families, allies and community organisations for a lively and colourful celebration of LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
Our stall offered a range of family‑friendly activities, including an Estuary Pride jigsaw puzzle, an exploration‑themed scavenger hunt and a fun selfie frame challenge, with a prize spin on our Wheel of Fortune for anyone who took part. These activities proved hugely popular, with visitors of all ages joining in throughout the day.
We had the chance to meet and chat with many members of the public, voluntary groups, charities and partner organisations. Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop, join an activity or share their experiences with us. Pride events like this play an important role in bringing communities together, building understanding and supporting visibility for LGBTQIA+ people and allies.
We were also proud to highlight our Stonewall Proud Employer Trailblazer status and our commitment to the LGBTQ+ HouseProud Pledge, which reinforces our dedication to creating safe, inclusive homes and services for LGBTQIA+ residents.
A special thank you goes to our wonderful EDI Champions, who volunteered their time and helped make the day such a success.
Everyone is welcome at Pride, and as we move towards our future as Delta, we look forward to continuing our work with local partners and communities to support equality, representation and belonging across our services.
