Check ID Before Letting Anyone into Your Home

We have received several reports, from residents of varying places, of individuals going door-to-door claiming to be from Estuary and stating they are checking properties for damp and mould.

Important – please be aware:

  • These individuals did not have Estuary identification
  • We have checked internally and can confirm this activity is NOT connected to Estuary
  • Reports suggest these individuals may be targeting more than one area

Estuary staff and contractors will always carry official ID. We strongly encourage residents to ask to see identification before allowing anyone into their home.


What to do if this happens to you:

  • Do not allow entry if valid Estuary ID is not provided
  • If you feel unsafe or suspicious, report the incident to the police
