RVIPS Attend Voids Inspector Training
Four members of our RVIP and Madeleine, Customer Voice Officer, recently underwent 'Void Inspector' training led by Nicholas Kyprianou, Head of Repairs. Nicholas gave an interesting and informative training session which started with exploring the background and context to inspection, including regulation and the procedure and the importance of residents being involved. The RVIP agreed on the role profile, terms of reference and the importance of a code of conduct and safe working protocols. Once the training had been completed, they travelled to Burnham to complete an exciting practical inspection. Working individually, they looked at each room and undertook a thorough inspection of both inside and outside the property, recording repair works required in the property in preparation for the next customer.
They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and thank Nicholas for his time and expertise!
